There's no place like home for the Oxford Academy Patriots, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Artesia 53-25 at home. That's another feather in the cap for Oxford Academy, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Jaelyn Arenzana had a dynamite game for Oxford Academy, scoring 15 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Arenzana has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Violet Sato, who scored four points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Oxford Academy's win bumped their record up to 11-16. As for Artesia, their defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 10-14.
Oxford Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Artesia also has no future games currently scheduled.
