The Orange Glen Patriots's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They fell 35-23 to Tri-City Christian. Orange Glen has not had much luck with Tri-City Christian recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Leading Tri-City Christian to victory were Katie Busch and Ava Johnson. Busch dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds, while Johnson scored 14 points along with five steals. Johnson is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last nine games she's played.
Orange Glen has not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season. As for Tri-City Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 10-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Orange Glen will take on San Pasqual at 11:30 a.m. on Monday. San Pasqual comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 22 points in their last three games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. As for Tri-City Christian, they will be playing at home against Maranatha Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Maranatha Christian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
