Stockdale is a perfect 7-0 against Ridgeview since February of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Mustangs will welcome the Wolf Pack at 4:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Stockdale comes in on four and Ridgeview on three.
While Stockdale's victory against Garces Memorial wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Mustangs skirted past the Rams 9-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Mustangs have posted since March 31st.

The team relied heavily on Alexander Blain, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Charlie Ryder, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Stockdale kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in six consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Ridgeview was not the first on the board on Friday, but they got there more often. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Independence 8-7.
Jacob Quintero was excellent, going 2-for-4 with three runs, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Adrian Bravo, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.
Ridgeview's win bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Stockdale, their victory bumped their record up to 15-4-1.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Monday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Stockdale has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 6.6 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Ridgeview struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.9 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Stockdale got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in April of 2025 against Ridgeview by a conclusive 13-1 score. Do the Mustangs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wolf Pack turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
