The Boyertown Bears lost against the Methacton Warriors back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Thursday. Boyertown fell  49-38 to Methacton.
 Despite the loss, Boyertown still got an impressive performance from   Madelyn Weaver, who  scored 13 points along with five  steals. Weaver hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games.  Tessa Wolfe was another key contributor,  scoring eight points.
  Abby Arnold was  her usual excellent self,  scoring 17 points along with six  rebounds for Methacton. That makes it eight consecutive games in which  Arnold has scored at least a third of Methacton's points. Another player making a difference was  Avery Kenney, who  scored seven points along with six  rebounds and four  steals.
 Boyertown bumped their record down to 3-10 with that  defeat, which was their 11th straight  on the road dating back to last season. Those losses could be blamed on the team's  offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 26.6 points per game. As for Methacton, their victory bumped their record up to 2-10.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Boyertown will take on Manheim Township at 5:30  p.m.  on Saturday. Manheim Township presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Boyertown in Pennsylvania (Manheim Township is ranked 66th, while Boyertown is ranked 435th). As for Methacton, they will look to defend their home court  on Saturday against Pennridge at 2:30  p.m.
