Casa Roble's loss came despite strong showings from Savannah Sanders and Lydia Chechourka-Price. Sanders scored 9 points, while Chechourka-Price scored 8 points. Sanders scored a full 36% of Casa Roble's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
El Dorado got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Alana Schneider out in front who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 10 rebounds. The match was Schneider's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Blake Bagnell was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with 6 assists and 5 rebounds.
Casa Roble's defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-3. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 21.3 points per game. As for El Dorado, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.
Casa Roble will head out on the road to face off against West Campus at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. West Campus' defense has only allowed 29.2 points per game this season, so Casa Roble's offense will have their work cut out for Casa Roble. As for El Dorado, they will face off against Rocklin at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
