You can't lose the match if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Chavez's strategy against Linden on Tuesday. Chavez put the hurt on Linden with a sharp 45-23 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Chavez has posted against Linden since December 2, 2016.
Chavez's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Joyce Maykaela castro, who scored 12 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Maykaela castro has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Amora Hendon, who scored two points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Meanwhile, Franklin's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They took a serious blow against McNair, falling 86-35. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Franklin in their matchups with McNair: they've now lost four in a row.
