The King Wolves will square off against the Ramona Rams at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. King is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season.
On Saturday, King needed a bit of extra time to put away Kaiser. They skirted past the Cats 3-2. The three-run effort marked the Wolves' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.
King got a great performance from Miles Swan as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over six innings pitched.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Cooper Cantrell, who went 3-for-5 with three RBI and one stolen base. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Carlos Moreno, who went 3-for-4 with one run.
Meanwhile, Ramona put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let Colton get on the board and left with a 13-0 victory.
Richard Laskey was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Laskey was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.
In other batting news, Julian DeCasas was excellent, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with three RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Anthony Avina, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.
Ramona's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for King, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.
Monday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. King hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .345. However, it's not like Ramona struggles in that department as they've averaged .317. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
