Football Recap: St. Bonaventure's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

St. Bonaventure can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They took down the Simi Valley Pioneers 41-26. This was payback for the Seraphs, who suffered a 42-28 loss the last time these two teams met.

Special teams played a big role in the game for St. Bonaventure, adding 17 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Tony Dargan, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

Despite the defeat, Simi Valley saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Connor Petrov threw for 238 yards and three touchdowns. Speaking of playmakers, who could forget Quentin McGahan, who went all the way with a kickoff return for a touchdown.

The win got St. Bonaventure back to even at 3-3. As for Simi Valley, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-4.
