Volleyball Recap: First Flight Has No Trouble Against Northeastern

First Flight won the last time they faced Northeastern and things went their way on Thursday too. The Nighthawks put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Nighthawks.

First Flight walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-20, 25-13.

Brooklyn Younts paced First Flight's offense, picking up eight kills. Younts got some help from Savannah Schnader and her 16 assists. Schnader was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

The win got First Flight back to even at 10-10. As for Northeastern, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-12.

Looking ahead, First Flight will be playing at home against Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Northeastern, they are taking a road trip to square off against Hertford County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
