Softball Recap: Locust Grove Wins Going Away Against Mcdonough

After only one run in their last game, Locust Grove made sure to put some runs up on the board against McDonough on Tuesday. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Warhawks with a sharp 16-4 victory. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Warhawks recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Locust Grove's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for McDonough, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Locust Grove will face off against Eagle's Landing at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 20.2 runs per game on average), something the Wildcats will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for McDonough, they are taking a road trip to face off against Westlake at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
