While losing is never fun, Simi Valley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 904th, while Louisville is ranked 136th).
When it comes to explaining why Simi Valley lost, one person who can't be blamed is Abigail Degnan. Despite the final result, she scored 10 points along with 4 blocks.
Simi Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Louisville, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Santa Monica the next time they take the court. Simi Valley will head out to face Santa Monica on Thursday, while Louisville will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
