This season hasn't been kind to the Halifax Wildcats, who are still winless after their ninth match. They took a 43-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of Camp Hill on Thursday. Halifax has not had much luck with Camp Hill recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Halifax used a three-pronged attack on offense:
Madison Dobbin,
Abigail Groy, and
Ava Savage posted six points each.
Camp Hill can attribute much of their success to Sophie Chapman, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds. Those eight rebounds set a new season-high mark for her.
Halifax's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Camp Hill, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-6.
Halifax will finish 2023 at home by hosting Selinsgrove at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Selinsgrove focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Thursday. Camp Hill's road trip will continue as they head out to face Waynesboro at 7:30 p.m. on December 29, 2023. Waynesboro has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
