After losing to the Palmyra Cougars the last time they met, the Cedar Cliff Colts decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Cedar Cliff came out on top against Palmyra by a score of 30-21 on Friday. The win made it back-to-back wins for Cedar Cliff.
Several Cougars players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Addison Salus, who scored six points along with five rebounds and three blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Mackenzie Margut, who scored four points along with two steals.
Cedar Cliff's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-7. As for Palmyra, their loss dropped their record down to 13-3.
Cedar Cliff will head out on the road to face off against Milton Hershey at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Milton Hershey is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak. As for Palmyra, they will be playing at home against Hempfield at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hempfield will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 355th, while Palmyra is ranked 166th).
