The Blackhawk Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 20 points or more this season. They breezed by Central Valley at home to the tune of 66-18. Winning may never get old, but Blackhawk sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Blackhawk to victory, but perhaps none more so than Andrea Kinger, who scored 15 points. That's the first time this season that Kinger scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Alena Fusetti, who scored nine points.
Blackhawk pushed their record up to 9-2 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.3 points per game. As for Central Valley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Blackhawk won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Hopewell at 6:30 p.m. on January 4th. Hopewell will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 352nd, while Blackhawk is ranked 53rd). Central Valley's road trip will continue as they head out to face Beaver at 7:30 p.m. on January 8th.
