Jamaica Cook and Armarisse Camargo were among the main playmakers for Carpinteria as the former dropped a double-double on 18 points and 14 rebounds and the latter dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Cook has scored at least a third of Carpinteria's points. Charlotte Cooney was another key contributor, scoring five points along with five steals.
In what's become a running theme this season, Grand Terrace gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. They breezed by Bethel Christian on the road to the tune of 64-6. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-5.
Carpinteria has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 13-8 record this season. As for Grand Terrace, their win bumped their record up to 21-8.
