Softball Recap: South Paulding Extends Winning Streak to Six

South Paulding had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.2 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Kennesaw Mountain Mustangs as they made off with a 14-7 win. Considering the Spartans have won eight games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

South Paulding's victory bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Kennesaw Mountain, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-15.

Looking ahead, South Paulding will venture away from home to square off against East Paulding at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Spartans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Raiders have averaged an impressive 6.7 runs per game this season. As for Kennesaw Mountain, they will host Whitefield Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
