The Yucca Valley Trojans will head out on the road to  square off against  the Desert Hot Springs Golden Eagles at 3:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Yucca Valley is no doubt hoping to put an end to  a three-game streak of away losses.

  Ryder Rohr was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  struck out 14 batters over  seven innings while giving up just two earned  (and two unearned) runs off   six  hits. Rohr was also big at the plate,  scoring four  runs while going 4-for-4.
 In other batting news,  Trent Morrison and  Sebastian Mora did most of the damage at the plate:  Morrison  scored three  runs while going 4-for-4, while  Mora  went 4-for-4 with four  RBI and a  run.  Jay Burroughs was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-3.
 Meanwhile,  Desert Hot Springs unfortunately witnessed the end of their  five-game winning streak on Friday. Their  tough  13-7 loss to Indio  might stick with them for a while.
 Yucca Valley's victory  ended  a  three-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 3-8. As for Desert Hot Springs, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-9.
 Yucca Valley might still be hurting after the  9-1 loss they got from Desert Hot Springs  when the teams last played  back in April of 2023. Thankfully for Yucca Valley,  Elijah Maier (who   didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out seven over seven innings pitched) won't be suiting up this time.
