McCool Junction had won five straight at home dating back to last season, but on Friday they bumped up to 3-1 to make it six. They walked away with a 30-22 win over the East Butler Tigers. For the Mustangs, this counts as revenge for the 30-14 victory the Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.
McCool Junction was led to victory by Carson McDonald and Colby Yates. McDonald threw for 133 yards and three touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes, while Yates picked up 115 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.
