The Louisville Lions lost against the Weeping Water Indians back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Louisville's tough 38-18 loss to Weeping Water might stick with them for a while. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Louisville has scored all season.
Weeping Water got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Brinkley Mcadams out in front who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds. That's the first time this season that Mcadams pulled down eight or more rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kallie Brack, who scored seven points along with five steals.
Louisville's loss was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-4. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 27.7 points per game. As for Weeping Water, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-1.
Louisville will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Johnson County Central at 6:00 p.m. Johnson County Central's defense has only allowed 23.4 points per game this season, so Louisville's offense will have their work cut out for Louisville. As for Weeping Water, they will head out on the road to face off against Palmyra on Thursday.
