The Hawley Nuggets lost against the Park Rapids Panthers back in September, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Hawley fell 26-15 to Park Rapids.
Park Rapids can attribute much of their success to Jaydon Walen, who rushed for 75 yards and a touchdown.
Hawley has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Park Rapids, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.
Hawley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Park Rapids will head out on the road to face off against Pelican Rapids at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Pelican Rapids is coming into the match hot, having won their last five games.
