Friday's game might be decided on the ground. Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 309.3 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Weslaco East struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 301.3 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's matchup turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Everything came up roses for Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North against Weslaco East in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 42-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Raiders since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
