The El Camino Colts scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They walked away with a 47-34 win over South San Francisco. The victory made it back-to-back wins for El Camino.
El Camino's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mariah Flores, who scored 23 points. That makes it 12 consecutive games in which Flores has scored at least 25% of El Camino's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Basco Chelsea, who scored 14 points.
El Camino's win bumped their record up to 5-8. As for South San Francisco, their loss dropped their record down to 8-7.
El Camino will head out on the road to face off against Capuchino at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Capuchino is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home. South San Francisco won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Oceana at 6:00 p.m. on January 9th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in California (Oceana is ranked 650th, while South San Francisco is ranked 630th).
