The Mt. Zion Eagles will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Adairsville Tigers  at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Both come into the  contest bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
Mt. Zion is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Callaway. The Eagles put the hurt on the Cavaliers with a sharp  9-1 victory on Wednesday.
Adairsville came out on top against Paulding County  on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run fourth inning. The Tigers narrowly escaped with a  win as the  team sidled past the Patriots  6-5.
 The team  relied heavily on  Ansley Powell, who  got on base  in three of her four plate appearances with two  stolen bases, two  RBI,  and one  run. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ashlynn Durden, who  went 2-for-4 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  RBI.
