The Bethlehem Christian Panthers fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against the Lincoln Leadership Academy Lions on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 60-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions.
Alania Ortiz continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Lincoln Leadership Academy, scoring 21 points along with eight rebounds and eight steals. The game was Ortiz's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jocelyn Fuentes, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Bethlehem Christian now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Lincoln Leadership Academy, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bethlehem Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lincoln Leadership Academy on January 16, 2024. Lincoln Leadership Academy will be home for the holidays to greet Quakertown Christian on Friday.
