In what's become a running theme this season, the Carson Colts gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They really took it to Rancho Dominguez for the full four quarters, racking up a 74-34 victory on the road. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 41-17.
Carson got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Sydney Jackson out in front who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 assists. Jackson hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Wheeler, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 15 rebounds.
Carson is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season. As for Rancho Dominguez, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8.
Carson will be playing in front of their home fans against San Pedro at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. San Pedro will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. As for Rancho Dominguez, they will head out on the road to square off against Narbonne at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
