Their defense stepped up to hand Williams a 2-0 shutout. Paradise's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three matchups.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of

Ruby Wyse, who scored both of Paradise's goals. The pair have combined for a total of 14 so far this season.

As for Williams, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Willows at 3:00 p.m. Willows is coming into the contest with four straight losses on the road, meaning Williams will have to defend against a squad hungry for a victory.
