For Frontier, this counts as revenge for the 56-46 loss Ridgeview walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2023.
It was another big night for Alexis Tinnin, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 15 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Frontier's points. Another player making a difference was Sage Sebastian, who scored 11 points along with three steals.
Frontier's win bumped their record up to 13-5. As for Ridgeview, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season.
Frontier will be playing at home against Garces Memorial at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Garces Memorial is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Ridgeview, they will head out on the road to face off against Bakersfield Christian at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Bakersfield Christian presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Ridgeview in California (Bakersfield Christian is ranked 165th, while Ridgeview is ranked 485th).
