The Monte Vista Christian Mustangs won against the North Salinas Vikings last Tuesday with three goals and they decided to stick to that goal total again on Thursday. Monte Vista Christian came out on top against North Salinas by a score of 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Monte Vista Christian.
They hit North Salinas with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Ashley Drago,
Lauren Kelley, and
Kanaya Falce.
Monte Vista Christian has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5-3 record this season. As for North Salinas, their loss dropped their record down to 4-11-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Monte Vista Christian will take on Seaside at 5:45 p.m. on Monday. Seaside's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for 16 straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for North Salinas, they will look to defend their home pitch on Monday against Soledad at 3:30 p.m.
