In what's become a running theme this season, the San Juan Hills Stallions gave their fans yet another huge victory on Thursday. They breezed by Trabuco Hills on the road to the tune of 67-23. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 46-12.
Leading San Juan Hills to victory were Anna Shreeve and Sydney Peterson. Shreeve scored 22 points along with nine steals and six rebounds, while Peterson scored 25 points along with nine rebounds and five assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Peterson has scored all season. Aryanna Hudson was another key contributor, scoring six points along with six assists and three steals.
San Juan Hills' victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-9. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.0 points per game. As for Trabuco Hills, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-11.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. San Juan Hills will take on San Clemente at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Trabuco Hills, they the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Aliso Niguel at 3:00 p.m. on January 27th.
