Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mohave Accelerated). They never let the Highland Prep West unknown get on the board and left with a 29-0 win on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Patriots, who have now won nine matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
Megan Jones was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 11 over four innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one hit in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2025.
In other batting news, Tanner Banks was incredible, firing off four home runs, 12 RBI, and five runs while going 5-for-5. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 1.2 home runs per game. Another player making a difference was Sara King, who went 4-for-5 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple.
Mohave Accelerated kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 24 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in nine consecutive games.
