The East Union Lancers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Enochs Eagles at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday. East Union will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak  alive.
 On Thursday, East Union came up short against Liberty  and fell  11-7.
 East Union got a good showing from  Frankie Ostreicher, who   pitched 2.2 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit (he also didn't allow any  walks).
 On the hitting side, East Union saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Blake Mount, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Carson Sanders, who  scored a  run while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 Enochs can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game  on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  6-5  win over Linden.
  Jacob Fernandez was  excellent,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 East Union's loss dropped their record down to 8-2. As for Enochs, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5.
 The batters for both teams will have to hit smart  on Saturday as both teams have some strikeout artists on the roster. East Union has been retiring batters left and right this season,  having  averaged 8.6  strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Enochs struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 7.4  per game. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
