Ruston had already won 12 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.2 runs) and they went ahead and made it 13 on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 16-6 margin over the Glenbrook Apaches. The result was nothing new for the Bearcats, who have now won 13 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Ruston pushed their record up to 20-6 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.2 runs over those games. As for Glenbrook, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-9-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ruston will welcome Alexandria at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Glenbrook, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Parkway at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
