Cooter owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Monday. They put the hurt on Leopold with a sharp 7-0 win. The result was nothing new for Cooter, who have now won nine contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Cooter's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 16-8. As for Leopold, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 17-9.

Coming up, Cooter will challenge North Shelby on Wednesday. The Raiders' pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so the Wildcats' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Leopold does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
