Coventry is a perfect 10-0 against Windsor Locks since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Patriots will be playing in front of their home fans against the Raiders at 4:00 p.m. Coventry is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last 17 games.
On Tuesday, Coventry got the win against Somers by a conclusive 15-2. Considering the Patriots have won 15 contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Dominic DeAngelis was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in eight consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double.

In other batting news, Mather Spear was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jack Siena, who went 3-for-4 with one home run and six RBI.
Coventry kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in nine consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Windsor Locks came up short against Windsor on Tuesday, falling 11-2. The loss continues a trend for the Raiders in their meetings with the Warriors: they've now lost three in a row.
Windsor Locks saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dylan Hall, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.
Windsor Locks' defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Coventry, their win bumped their record up to 18-1.
Windsor Locks' pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Coventry has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .508. It's a different story for Windsor Locks, though, as they've only averaged .335. Will they be able to contain Coventry's hitters?
