The Wyandotte Bears got the win against the Newkirk Tigers on Thursday by a conclusive 12-2. The Bears might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 games by six runs or more this season.

Wyandotte pushed their record up to 25-9 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Newkirk, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-4.

Wyandotte wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 12-0 win against Mounds on the 25th. As for Newkirk, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 6-1 victory against Fairland on the 26th.
