The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Nuview Bridge in their matchups with Desert Christian Academy: they've now lost four in a row.
It was another big night for Hannah Shaver, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 16 rebounds for Desert Christian Academy. Shaver has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last seven times she's played. Another player making a difference was Damaris Figueroa, who scored 14 points along with three steals.
Nuview Bridge's loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-8. As for Desert Christian Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.
