Ocean View Christian came out on top against Gompers Prep Academy on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive ten-run first inning. The Patriots were the clear victors by a 14-8 margin over the Eagles. The win continues a trend for the Patriots in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won six in a row.

Ocean View Christian let Tyler Cauley and Cristian Herring run wild. Cauley got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI, while Herring went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
