The Camp Hill Lions have not had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They came out on top against Halifax by a score of 43-30 on Thursday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Camp Hill also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Camp Hill can attribute much of their success to Sophie Chapman, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds. That's the first time this season that Chapman pulled down eight or more rebounds.
Camp Hill's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Halifax, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-9.
Camp Hill won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Waynesboro at 7:30 p.m. on December 29, 2023. Waynesboro has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. Halifax won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Selinsgrove at 3:00 p.m. on December 29, 2023. Hopefully Selinsgrove focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Thursday.
