Basketball Recap: Great Commission's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

Great Commission needed a changed in momentum after dropping four straight games and they got it from Alexa Hall. The Great Commission Bears blew past Centre County Christian Academy 53-32 on Tuesday thanks in part to Hall, who went 11 of 22 on her way to 26 points and four steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Great Commission's points.

Allison Hall was another key player, putting up eight points in addition to eight boards and six steals. Hall is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Great Commission's win bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Centre County Christian Academy, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Great Commission and Centre County Christian Academy's offenses will be put to the test in their next games. Great Commission will square off against Johnstown Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, a team that's only allowed 23.55 points per game. Meanwhile, Centre County Christian Academy and Calvary Christian Academy (who has only given up 27.92 points per game) will meet at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
