After low-scoring totals in their previous three game, McAlester brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Hugo a 12-0 shutout on Thursday. McAlester's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

McAlester's victory bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Hugo, they are on a 25-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Coming up, McAlester will head out to take on Checotah at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Buffaloes' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Hugo, they will challenge Clayton at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
