 The team  relied heavily on  Armani Arias, who  went 3-for-3 with a  home run, seven  RBI,  and a  double. The team also got some help courtesy of  Matthew Clements, who  scored three  runs while going 2-for-4.
 Meanwhile,  Westerly unfortunately witnessed the end of their  three-game winning streak on Friday. They suffered a  tough 13-6 loss at the hands of Waterford. The  defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Westerly in their matchups with Waterford: they've now lost three in a row.
 The  win  got Johnston back to even at 3-3. As for Westerly, their loss dropped their record down to 6-2.
 Johnston came out on top in a nail-biter against Westerly  when the teams last played  back in April of 2023, sneaking past  3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for Johnston since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
