Louden Carter and Jeremiah Pritchard were a major factor no matter where they played. On the mound, Carter didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. Meanwhile, Pritchard pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. At the plate, Carter scored a run while going 1-for-2, while Pritchard scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Those two stolen bases gave Pritchard a new career-high.

In other batting news, Nathan Yuen was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 4-for-4. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of David Harris, who scored three runs and stole two bases.
Valley Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Sacramento Country Day only managed two hits.
Meanwhile, Leroy Greene Academy scored first but ultimately less than Valley Christian in their contest on Friday. They lost 18-8 to Valley Christian. While Leroy Greene Academy didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating Valley Christian 5-0 in the first period.
Juan Salazar made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Maison Wunder also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.
Leroy Greene Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. Valley Christian now has a winning record of 2-1.
Thursday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Valley Christian has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .455. However, it's not like Leroy Greene Academy struggles in that department as they've averaged .475. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
