West Philadelphia can attribute much of their success to Devin Sadat, who scored 12 points along with 5 steals. Victoria Williams was another key contributor, scoring 5 points along with 3 steals.
West Philadelphia's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Samuel Fels, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Philadelphia will challenge Roxborough at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. Roxborough and West Philadelphia are at an even 4-4 over their past eight head-to-heads. As for Samuel Fels, they will head out on the road to face off against Academy of the New Church at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
