Last Saturday, everything came up roses for St. Michael's against Hope Christian as the team secured a 47-8 win. Fans of the Horsemen have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Kamal Stith produced another solid performance throwing for 230 yards and five touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes, and also rushing for 84 yards and a pair of TDs on only eight carries. Those five passing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. St. Michael's leading receiver Ryan Hunt was Stith's top target yet again, picking up 83 receiving yards and three scores.
St. Michael's run defense was locked in: Hope Christian could only muster 1.8 yards per carry. The team can thank Curtis Valdez for the heroic effort on defense: he. St. Michael's hasn't allowed more than 5.5 yards per carry in six consecutive contests.
St. Michael's defense didn't let Rj Montoya, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for three sacks. Hunt was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself.
Meanwhile, West Las Vegas hadn't done well against Robertson recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Dons blew past the Cardinals 35-6. That looming 35-6 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Dons yet this season.
West Las Vegas now has a winning record of 4-3. As for St. Michael's, their victory bumped their record up to 7-0.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Friday's matchup: St. Michael's has been on an offensive roll this season, having averaged 394.6 total yards per game. It's a different story for West Las Vegas, though, as they've been averaging only 219.4 total yards. Will St. Michael's be able to march up the field at their leisure again, or will the Dons flip the script?
Everything went St. Michael's way against West Las Vegas in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as St. Michael's made off with a 28-6 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Horsemen since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
