Linemen dominate the Land of 10,000 Lakes. Seven of Minnesota's top nine 2021 high school football players are linemen, including four of the country's most sought after offensive tackles.
The University of Wisconsin has secured the state's No. 1 prospect for the second straight class, while the University of Minnesota is the only institution with multiple commitments (two). The Golden Gophers are also listed as the favorite for a third.

Well-balanced frame. Big all the way through and can carry more weight. Has played at a good program in high school and improved a lot between sophomore and junior year. Dominant run blocker. ... Reliable, tough prospect who should start multiple seasons at a high-major level. That could come earlier in his career if he picks up the pass pro quickly. Should have a shot at playing beyond college."

Says Trieu: "High school tight end who is very lean but has the frame, pedigree and skill set to grow into a college offensive tackle. Very good blocker from that spot in high school. ... It is not out of the question a school would use him as a big tight end, but his upside is much higher as an offensive tackle prospect. He will have the add the weight and strength, but once he does that, he could be a high-end tackle."
8. Logan Purcell, Annandale

It may take some time for him to get there, but he has those physical pre-requisites."
9. Terrance Kamara, North Community (Minneapolis)
