The Trinity Christian Lions will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Spalding Jaguars at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.
Trinity Christian is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against LaGrange. The Lions never let the Grangers get on the board and left with a 9-0 win on Tuesday.
Mary Ruth Adkins made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over six innings pitched. Those seven strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs.
