Perhaps the best among them was   Ryder Watson, who threw for 215 yards and two touchdowns while completing 76.5% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.  Romeo Carter was another key receiver, picking up 179 receiving yards and a touchdown.
 Point Loma now  has a winning record of 5-4. As for La Jolla, their defeat  ended  a  seven-game streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 6-3.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Point Loma will welcome Cathedral Catholic  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Cathedral Catholic is coming into the  matchup with three straight  victories on the road,  so Point Loma will have to stop a  team with plenty of momentum. As for La Jolla, they will host University City  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. University City is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 38.9  points per game  this season.
