The Sacramento Dragons will face off against the Pioneer Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sacramento is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51 points per game this season.
Last Tuesday, Sacramento humbled Rodriguez with a 57-29 victory. The Dragons have beaten the Mustangs the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Mustangs has come to flipping the script.

It was another big night for La Ne Dunn, who almost dropped a triple-double with 25 points, 16 boards, and nine steals. She has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more rebounds the last 19 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Mikayla Lake, who posted five points and seven boards.
Meanwhile, Pioneer had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.3 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They strolled past the Wildcats with points to spare, taking the game 48-34.
Pioneer's win came from a few key players Sacramento will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Naomi Navarro, who put up 13 points and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Angeleyis Medina De La Fuente, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 11 rebounds.
Pioneer was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in February of 2024.
Pioneer pushed their record up to 12-12 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.4 points over those games. As for Sacramento, their victory bumped their record up to 19-8.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Sacramento has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 37.4 boards per game. However, it's not like Pioneer struggles in that department as they've been averaging 34.8 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Sacramento came up short against Pioneer when the teams last played back in January, falling 53-48. Will Sacramento have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the action for a full breakdown of the game and more basketball content.
