After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cornerstone Christian, Alexander was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Alamo Heights Mules by a score of 2-0. The victory continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Mules: they've now won three in a row.

While Alexander won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-16.

Abriella Betancourt paced Alexander's offense, picking up ten kills. Betancourt got some help from Amari Randez and her 11 assists. Betancourt was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Alexander's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Alamo Heights, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-8.

Alexander didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Clemens on the 22nd. As for Alamo Heights, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Marshall on the 22nd.
