Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Littlestown). They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Gettysburg Warriors 51-49. Winning may never get old, but the Thunderbolts sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Littlestown's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Maci Losego, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and ten rebounds. Autumn Moran was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 15 points and nine boards.
Littlestown now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Gettysburg, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 3-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Littlestown won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Delone Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Gettysburg, they will be home for the holidays to greet Waynesboro at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
